Had our fun doctor's visit today. Nothing too eventful. I asked if it was too early to strip my membranes and was told yes. UGH. this sleeping for a half hour at a stretch at night is getting real old real fast. But I have no choice but to wait I guess. On a positive note - I'm 80% effaced and dilated to a complete 1 at this point. When she first listened to his heartbeat she said well that's not good - it was between like 170 and 180. So she checked me and then his heart rate again and it was down to like 140. He was moving all over when she first listened so she said that was why it was up there a bit. Whew. And of course Kendall and her questions......comes with me to the bathroom so I can do my thing in a cup and she says "how come it's just pee mommy, how come you don't poopy in there too?" well.....
Brenym's room got its final coat of paint this morning. Rob and I are going to put his decals up tonight and get everything in there situated. We still have to order the bedding - but I figure he'll be in his cradle for a few weeks so we've got a bit. I suggested using Kendall's old bedding to save some cash.....but Rob was opposed to pink......hmmm....
